The Actor
My story as an actor began when I entered my first-ever theater class in my freshman year of high school. Looking back now, I would actually like to thank my fairly prepubescent voice for helping me book my first stage role as Pinocchio in Shrek the Musical! The feeling of entertaining an audience was a feeling I wished to capture and pursue all the way into my adult life! Below you can find my list of acting credits, from stage plays to short films.
The Joy of Storytelling
My collegiate career has been such a thrill! Full of opportunities to express myself as a storyteller, where I was able to utilize my physicality, emotional range, and efficacious line deliveries.
Here I am portraying the character "Martin" from a new work here at JMU, "War Stories," written by Sydney Miller.
The importance of a well timed pause.
The use of silence can be just as impactful as a memorable line delivery. I always cherish the lessons I have taken, and this is one that has always been in the back of my mind as a performer.
Here I am portraying the character "Nine" in a JMU Studio Theatre production of "In the Forests of the Night."
