Hello there! My name is Rylan Farey, and as you are reading this I am just a few short weeks away from graduating from James Madison University with a BA in Theatre with a focus in acting and directing!
I’m a proud English-American who spent a lot of time moving from place to place when I was young. Moving from coast to coast taught me how to meet new people and make new acquaintances. Through all the unknowns and questions I had on what I wanted to do with my life. There were some constants that were always there. I always enjoyed entertaining those around me: my family, closest friends, and even a stranger when I hear them mention my favorite football team, Arsenal. I didn’t just love making people laugh and smile… I live for it!
From hosting family game shows during the holidays to stage productions here at JMU to even trying my hand with screen acting through short films. It seemed to me that I was put on this earth to make people happy and to enlighten other humans through my work as an artist!
I’m humbled and thankful to have the opportunity to create art professionally in as many capacities as I’m able to. I relish the chance to prove what I can do in this world, and I can’t wait for you to view my work, so I thank you greatly for your time, as without you, dear reader, I would not have a sniff of a chance at this career, and have a very lovely rest of your day!
